On a picturesque Dimboola Riverside property, Simon and Kayla tied the knot in late February 2020. Reflecting their own personalities, the now Mr and Mrs Mibus had a beautifully easy-going and fun celebration, taking place in the bush where they grew up.

Friends, family and cherished loved ones are an important part of any celebration and Simon and Kaylas big day was no exception. Their three beautiful children Taren (10), Xavier (3) and Hunter (1) were a part of the ceremony and with their little ones being of such a young age, the newly-weds came armed with a wedding tip - to have your wedding photos taken before the ceremony. The youngest, Hunter, was super emotional when the ceremony was over. He was tired and after all, he was only one. The couple were thankful they had a “first look” photo taken pre-ceremony to capture the magical moment without tears of exhaustion from their little tike.

There was a lot of hard work during the preparation, with the couple hiring from Breuers in Horsham and Gypsy Soul in Nhill but ultimately everything else was made by their friends, family and themselves.

They were met with stunning weather the morning of their nuptials with the celebration lasting long into the night and thankfully their ceremony was not impacted by COVID-19 and its repercussions. The two had planned a honeymoon in Bali but instead decided to hightail it to Queensland, enjoying the gorgeous sunny weather on the other side of the country.

The day would not have been made possible without the very talented Rayne MUA in Horsham, Breuers in Horsham, Gypsy Soul in Nhill and Simon and Kaylas family and friends - Mila for the flowers and Kaylas Aunt Hazel helping with the arbor - to name a few.

All in all, a magnificent family focused wedding and cheers to the blushing bride and groom for many more magical years to come.
